A Ugandan mason was found dead by his colleagues on Tuesday morning at their construction site in the Catholic Diocese of Rumbek premises where they also lodge.

The team leader, Patrick Otim Lotimo, told Radio Good News that John James Okello had been working normally the previous day.

Mr. Otim said the death of their colleague was completely unexpected, adding that he may have been sick but did not disclose his condition.

Davis Olueny, a nephew to the diseased, said his uncle was treated for malaria last month but he recovered well.

Mr. Okello’s body left for Gulu, Uganda, Wednesday afternoon.

The late James Okello leaves behind a widow and six children.
