GOSS AND GONU VICE PRESIDENTS VISIT KAUDA, IN NUBA MOUNTAINS

The Vice President of the Government of Soutehrn Sudan and his counterpart in the Government of National Unity paid yesterday a visit to Kauda, in Nuba Mountains.

GoSS Vice president Riek Machar Teny told the huge crown that welcomed the two senior politicians that what was lost during the war has to be recovered in a very short period, especially education.

He added that anyone over 18 years of age has the tight to vote.

Dr. Machar remarked that SPLM in Southern Kordofan decided to boycott the Elections in the State.

He added that SPLM and the NCP had to discuss the issue of the State Elections and that they have found a solution.

Dr. Machar urged all the citizens in Southern Kordofan to get ready to vote in the elections, while urging nominees to start their campaigns.

GoNU Vice president, Ali Osman Muhammed Taha, on his turn expressed that peace is breathing in Sudan again.

Mr. Taha said war destroyed buildings and roads, and many lives too.

He added that there is no return to war again.

Mr. Taha told the crowd that GoNU will offer a Training Center for Specialization in Art and Technology in Heban County, and girls will be provided with a Secondary School in Kauda.

Mr. Taha invited the State Governor and his Deputy to prepare teachers for the Secondary School, which, he said, will be open in July 2010.
