Sheikh Ally Ngor told journalists during the official launch of the Moslem Conference that Islam is not an Arab religion but a religion for all that aims at unity and calls for peace.
Sheikh Ngor said that Southern Sudan Muslims have a role to play in society in peace culture building and development.Sheikh Ngor mentioned that Islam is a religion of peace and brotherhood although some people have used religion for political gains.
Sheikh Ngor called upon Moslems in region to work towards the unification of all southern Sudanese and refrain from segregating in religion and race.
