GoSS ministry of Gender, Social Welfare and Religious Affairs displayed a renown documentary film on inter-religious dialogue for a restricted group of partners in order to prepare its public viewing across the region.
Acting Director for Religious Affairs, Moses Telar Cindut, told Bakhita FM that his ministry was presenting the film “The Imam and the Pastor” that debates de question of religious fundamentalism and dialogue between Islam and Christianity.Mr. Cindut said after the show the group will discuss the launching of the documentary film in southern Sudan as a follow-up to the workshop on inter-religious dialogue promoted last year by the ministry.
Mr. Cindut explained that the documentary film was shot in Kaduna, Nigeria, to resolve the religious intolerance and differences in that state.
Mr. Cindut said the film promotes peaceful co-existence between faiths and denominations.
The film was displayed this evening at the Sudan Council of Churches premises in Juba.
