SUDAN COUNCIL OF CHURCHES PREPARES LEADERS FOR SAMARITAN PURSE

The Sudan Council of Churches (SCC) is preparing leaders to manage the Operational Christmas Child and be advisers of the National Leadership team in the Samaritan Purse distribution.

SCC operational coordinator of the Nelson King told SCR News that they are training leaders to be advisers for the church top leadership team to manage the Samaritan Purse.

Mr. King said that SCC is expecting containers of boxes to give out to the children.
He added that the boxes that come from America are for all children, not only Christians.

He added that it is important to prepare leaders for the event ahead of time.

Twenty two leaders are attending the training. It includes pastors and lay people.
The Samaritan Purse serves in 99 countries worldwide.
