Paris-based Europe Aviation said yesterday that it has obtained approval to perform Airbus A320 and A330 aircraft line maintenance at Khartoum airport.
The announcement was made on the sidelines of the Bahrain International Air Show 2010, being held at the Sakhir Air Base, Monster website reported.
The independent maintenance, repair and overhaul provider – which service both Airbus and Boeing aircrafts – said that it would also soon extend its capabilities to Boeing 737 and 777 planes in Khartoum.
The move is the next step in the development of a worldwide maintenance network with a very important presence in Africa and the Middle East, the company explained in a press release.
