Easter Radio started today in Yei testing emissions after technicians overcame a series of misshapes that postponed its operations twice.

The new station is part of Sudan Catholic Radio Network.

Easter Radio will be on air two hours every day until Easter, when it will be officially inaugurated to start regular programming.

Easter Radio joins Bakhita FM, in Juba, Radio Emmanuel in Torit, Radio Voice of Love in Malakal and Radio Voice of Peace, in Gidel, Nuba Mountains.

Meanwhile, technicians are working on Radio Don Bosco in Tonj and Good News Radio in Rumbek. The two stations should be fully operational within one month.
