CENTRAL EQUATORIA STATE SELECTS CANDIDATES FOR GOVERNORSHIP
Eight people had applied to the state electoral college and only five were elected.
Among the selected was Dr, Pius Subek, commissioner of Juba, Clement Wani Konga, Governor of Central Equatoria state, Alikaya Aligo, Gore Alfred, presidential advisor and Abraham Wani.
Elias Lino, Alfred Taban and Juma Alfred were left out.
Addressing the press, Oba Cecilia, the chairperson of the ElectoralCollege at the state level, said the president gave an order for only five people to be selected.
She clarified that the SPLM Political Bureau shall choose only one candidate to represent the party during the campaigns and the elections.
