UDF Chairman, Peter Abdurrahman Sule, told journalists in a press conference that his party will run for all posts in the April elections but not the presidency of the Republic.
Mr. Sule added that UDF will withhold the names of the candidates approved yesterday till reports from remote states of southern Sudan reach the party headquarters.
He said is against the principles of UDF stand for the presidency of the Republic while campaigning for the independence of Southern Sudan.
Yesterday the UDF political office approved the names of candidates to stand for various posts in the April elections.
