At least 134 aspirants have submitted their nomination forms to the SPLM to run for different political positions including governorship and Members of Central Equatoria State Legislative Assembly.
The deadline for submission of nomination forms ended yesterday and the final list of candidates in the SPLM ticket is expected to be released on January 15.

Among the aspirants for governorship in Central Equatoria are journalist Alfred Logune Taban, MP Alikaya Aligo Samson for Yei, GoSS Presidential Adviser Alfred Ladu Gore and Juba County Commissioner Dr. Pius Subek.
