Sudan People’s Liberation Movement has vowed yesterday not to return to war but get the country out of the political crisis where it is right now through a peaceful manner.
GoSS president addressed yesterday the public that turned up for the march in Juba organized by the southern political parties in defence of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement.

Salva Kiir Mayardit assured that southern Sudanese are peaceful people who do not want to go back to war.

Dr. Anne Itto, SPLM Deputy Secretary General for the Southern Sector, said in the same occasion that the NCP has declared war on peace and freedoms of the people of Sudan.

Dr. Itto added that the SPLM will not go back to war in spite of the provocations by the NCP against democratic transformation.

She mentioned the Security bill used to arrest SPLM and other parties’ officials who manifested peacefully against the political situation in the country.
