Jersa Kide Barsaba Amin is a member of the Southern Sudan High Committee and its Coordinator for the ten States.
She told SCR News that due to the extension of the exhibition and objection period from December 16 to 19 some states are still processing the data.
Ms. Kide added that very few objections have been submitted so far.
However, she said that only one state in Southern Sudan has finalised the computerized lists while the others use handwritten rolls.
Ms. Kide explained that in each constituency there are five centres where voters can go to check the amended lists.
She urged voters to go and check the amended lists, which will be on display from December 22, 2009, to January 5, 2010.
The voter registration process in Southern Sudan has been smooth, with an average turnout exceeding the data of the 2008 Census.
