Fr. Onesimo K√Ö¬°nyi Joseph, the new Archdiocesan Director of Communications and Media, wrote a letter breaking the news to all parish priests, heads of institutions, congregations and formation houses operating in the archdiocese.
He asked for articles poems and other contributions worthy publishing.
“Renewal” was established in the mid-80s. It stopped in 1989 when Khartoum banned the publication of newspapers in Southern Sudan.
Fr. K√Ö¬°nyi said “Renewal”‘s first quarter issue is due on January 10 under the main theme “Who the people say you are”.
He added that the archdiocese of Juba is reactivating the Office of Communications and Media at a crucial time when the Church is deeply engaged in conflicts resolution, reconciliation, and preparations for elections and referenda.
