A senior citizen has called on the youth for self respect and collaboration with their seniors.
Mr. Michael Modi Apolo is Southern Sudan Older People Organization (SSOPO) retired executive Director. He said youth in southern Sudan should maintain self discipline and respect.He also urged parents to be lenient to their sons and daughters.
Mr. Modi said that the long civil war in the south is responsible for all irresponsible behaviors on the side of the youth.
He added that since the south is under relative peace the youth need to assist their parents materially, morally and technically.
Mr. Modi concluded that parents, daughters and sons need to cooperate with each other to build a better society in southern Sudan.
