Politics should be exercised in the right way to achieve national transparency, truth, justice, love and peace, the head of the Bishops in Sudan said.
Bishop Rudolf Deng Majak of Wau is the President of the Sudan Catholic Bishops Conference (SCBC). He told SCR News that those who want to play politics should exercise it based on justice, peace and love.Bishop Deng added that all Sudanese should take at heart the next fifteen months which are very decisive for the people of Southern Sudan.
Bishop Deng said those who have registered must vote in the April 2010 general elections in order to ensure that “citizens’ maximum goodwill is expressed”.
He called on all citizens to wake up to move things forward in the crucial coming fifteen months and to attain a better future for the Sudan.
Bishop Deng made these statements in Juba after returning from the 10-day SCBC annual plenary meeting held in Torit.
