The governor of Eastern Equatoria State thanked the bishops of Sudan for holding their annual meeting in Torit saying it put the region in the map of events.
Governor Aloisio Emor Ojetuk said that the choice of Torit for the bishops’ assembly portrayed a positive image of the region to the world.He added that the bishops showed that Torit is able and has the means to host important events.
Mr. Ojetuk said that the Bishops also gave spiritual strength to the people of the region.
He called the bishops’ assembly in Torit historic.
