The World Bank in southern Sudan organized a get-together party for both foreign and local investors to promote the local investors’ advisory services.

The event that took place in Juba yesterday evening drew development partners and foreign investors to help locals through sustainable reform programmes ranging from business entry, business operations and exit.

Kenyi Spencer is the head of the investment programme at the World Bank in Southern Sudan. He told CRN News that the drive aims at opening an enabling environment for both domestic and foreign investors.

The move also supports the government to establish a strong ministry able to provide support to investors and establish an investment promotion agency.
