SPLA-IO forces are ready to implement the revitalised agreement, said Commander of Division Two A, Sector Eight in Wunuliet cantonment site in Luri on Saturday.

Major General Lodu Tongun Jada told media that they welcome the Joint Military Ceasefire Commission or JMCC assessment visit to allocate their forces from their Brigades to the cantonment site for the screening.

Major General Kulang Mayen, team leader of verification of cantonment sites and Barracks in Greater Equatoria and Boma State says their purpose to visit was to assess the area and other characteristics.

The accessibility of the road is the challenge that been found, he adds.

There will be committee to screen the forces and the Joint Defence Board will address the issue of command, once the forces are screened and taken to the training, Major General Mayen explains.

The officials were speaking at Wunuliet SPLA-IO cantonment site on Saturday during the assessment visit of the Joint Military Ceasefire Commission which is the security mechanism under Joint Defence Board.

JMCC Equatoria team visited four cantonment sites and two SSPDF main barracks in the past weeks.
