The women of Nzara county calls on the government to give them equal opportunities in all sectors.
Rose Magaya says women of Nzara County are capable to do any work for the development in the county but they need to be supported, Anisa Radio reports.
She adds that high rate of rape and rejection of women to participate in economic activities are the most common challenges they are facing, and therefore need partners to intervene.
Denis Bambura, Director of Change Agency Organization expresses concerns about women and that their rights should be respected.
Gbudue state Minister of Education, Gender, Child and Social Welfare Pia Phillip Michael acknowledges the work of women in Nzara County.
They spoke on Wednesday during International Women’s Day celebration in Nzara County under the theme: “Think equally, build smart and innovate for change”.
