The Minister of Education in Gbudue state is calling on all secondary schools to register only students who have passed the primary leaving exams.

Pia Philip Michael urges all secondary schools in Gbudue state to continue with the registration of Senior One students by accepting only those whose PLE results are reading “PASS”

He made the remarks while announcing 2018 Primary Leaving exams results on Friday.

He said the results were sent from Juba with some irregularities in the grading of marks obtained by some of the outgoing candidates.

The minister threatens to dismiss headmasters who will be found collecting money and registering the failed students.

He says those who completely failed should repeat the class and re-sit for the PLE this year.

He calls on parents and candidates affected in the preliminary results to remain calm.

The minister promises that the state will make follow up in Juba to bring the accurate results within two weeks.
