Citizens of Yubu and Bakiwiri have congratulated the state government for constructing Uze and Yubu Bridges.
 
During the official inauguration on Thursday, some local residents who spoke to Anisa Radio said the bridges will ease their movements and help them access basic services in Yambio.
 
Gbudue State Governor Badagbu Daniel Rimbasa urged the communities of Uze and Yubu to take care of the bridges because they will help them access the market with their local products.
 
He called on citizens of Sakure and Baakiwiri to keep the spirit of peace for development to take place.
 
The governor pledged state government’s commitment to support women in Yubu, Sakure and bakiwiri by providing more health centers, schools, and clean water.
 
Minister of Physical Infrastructure Clement Philemon Baima says the government will continue to develop Gbudue state in terms of construction of bridges, demarcation of places among others.
 
He appreciates the United Nations Office for Project Services or UNOPS for facilitating the successful construction of the two bridges.
