Cattle raiders invaded Alubi grazing area killing one person wounding another and looted over thirty heads of cattle in Heiban County of the Nuba Mountains
 
A source told Voice of Peace radio that looters were riding on camels as they attacked the cattle keeper in the field.
 
He adds that the cattle of six families were raided in the incident but armed men fought back and recovered big number of them.
 
The source explains that every year Alubi village is attacked by the cattle raiders and number of animals is lost in the event.
 
He says cows, goats and sheep are their source of income for family consumption and paying school fees to their children. 
 
Another source says that they will not leave the land despite the challenges community is facing.
 
He remakes that the land is rich with pasture and water for the animals and fertile for agriculture.
 
One of the armed officers in Alubi garrison Simon Osman says that they are determine to provide security for the community and their properties in the area.
