The Executive Director of South Sudan Law Society is urging citizens to protect the revitalize peace agreement signed last month in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
 
Hillary Francis while addressing hundreds of stakeholders urges the local population to monitor and participate in the in the implementation the deal, Radio Emmanuel reports.
 
It is a collective responsibility of all citizens to ensure all articles and sections in the peace deal are implemented and catered for, he stresses.
 
The Executive Director asks South Sudanese to disseminate the revitalized peace document to the people in the grassroots.
 
He calls on the government to protect the rights of its citizens for permanent peace to prevail in the country.
 
Torit State Chief Whip, Alma Maha Gordon, in Arabic says unity and love are paramount for durable peace to prevail in the region.
 
South Sudanese have suffered enough in the five-year, the parties to the peace deal should put the agreement into practice, she notes.
 
The officials were speaking during the closing of a one-day review of the permanent ceasefire and transitional security arrangements in Torit.
