The provincial appreciates the Salesians of Don Bosco for the services they are providing to the people of South Sudan.
Father Simon Asira Ibugu encourages the Salesians’ family to continue serving people with the word of God.
According to Don Bosco Radio, Ibugu explains that the missionaries proclaim the Gospel through education and other services to change lives of South Sudanese.
He stresses that the Church works to see that people grow in knowledge of God and put into practice religious values.
The priest advises the youth of South Sudan to concentrate on education for a brighter future.
One of the delegates, Fr Joseph Pulikal, believes the country can overcome the challenges it is facing if people avoid depending on others.
He appeals to citizens to work hard to be independent.
The missionaries spoke during their visit to Tonj.
