The mayor of Yambio municipality is advising citizens to minimize drinking of alcohol because it can cause more harm in human life.

Singira Robert says alcohol is good for leisure, but the way people take it, makes it to be bad.

He notes that when people take it as routine and they do not have good meals, they will become more alcoholic and easily lose their life.

Robert urges citizens to drink responsibly, be careful about their heath and think about the future of South Sudan.

He calls on women who are brewing local alcohol to follow the resolution passed by the Municipal Council to avoid troubles.

Few months back, the Municipality ordered alcohol dealers to operate for only four hours and that violators will face the law.

The mayor was reacting to Sunday incidence when dead body was found in Sugu Jabati in Yambio.
