Study tirelessly for better performance at the state level this year, headmaster of Kalkuel Primary School urges his Primary Leaving Certificate candidates.
Kiir Manyual hopes to lead the state this year as his candidates tried their best to be second top last year, Don Bosco Radio reports.
He urges the pupils to always cooperate with the administration in the school.
Manyual calls on parents to stop over burdening candidates who are preparing to sit for the national exams.
Teaching was very good last year because instructors were working hard in the school, he recalls.
The headmaster says 134 candidates sat for exams last year and only one failed.
The state ministry should stand firm in motivating teachers so that they can mold the future of students, he asks.
Catholic priest calls on faithful to forgive one another
A priest in the Catholic Diocese of Wau calls on the faithful to forgive one another.
Father Peter Bernardo says when there is forgiveness and reconciliation among people, God will bless communities in South Sudan, Voice of Hope Radio reports.
It is very important for everybody to know that the Sacrament of Baptism and the other Sacraments in the church are the same, he explains.
Christians should ask for forgive from others and God before the coming of the Holy Spirit next Sunday, the priest advises the congregation.
Father Bernado was preaching on Sunday at St Mary’s Cathedral in Wau.
