The government is cheated due to lack of NGOs Act, according to Yei River State Assembly during deliberation of motion on Monday.
 
Celina Pita Sworo, Member of Parliament explains that in some countries the NGO Act is respected.
 
When the NGO operates in a county or district after the end of its projects, it leaves all property to the area for the benefit of that place, she stresses.
 
Wani Jackson Mule, another member reveals that there are some NGOs claiming to have registered with the national government.
 
Jennifer Yabu says it is a high time that the legislature empower the executive so that projects are not congested in one particular area.
 
The legislators were talking on Monday when deliberating on the motion about NGOs operating in Yei River State.
