The United nation mission in South Sudan or UMNISS trains nearly four hundred students from various secondary schools in Torit municipality on sexual gender base violence or SGBV and human right on Thursday.
 
The training aim at educating students on various forms of sexual violence and ways on how to mitigate their occurrence in the state. Emmanuel Radio reports
 
Michelin Emilio, UNMISS gender officer tells students to be aware of different forms of sexual violence in the community
 
Emilio urged school girls to be careful of those who want to sexually exploit them
 
Chenwi Denis Fuh Unmiss human right officer says it is the duty of the government to protect  the right of its citizens including SGBV
 
Miriam Eddy is a student from Torit day secondary school. Eddy says she is happy to attend the training which aught her knowledge about human rights.
 
Eddy appreciates UNMISS for building the capacity of students on their rights
 
Michael Emma is another student from Dr. John Garang memorial school, Emma says the training has enable him understand his role in reducing sexual violence in the community.
 
Emma is calling on state authorities to collaborate with UNMISS to fight human right abuses which he believes is rampant in the communities
