Police officer in Tombura State headquarter confirms that gambol games are contributing to theft cases in the area.
Dominic Faustino Ndesi, Crime Officer says they receive almost 15 theft cases related to the game, according to the monthly report, Anisa Radio reports.
He says the report shows that the theft cases are increasing because of gamble games among the youth and idleness.
Faustino says the youth are normally seen playing cards and dominos when it comes to Christmas, New Year and Easter season.
He pledges to find out new mechanism with the Commissioner to control the games because of the negative contribution to development in the area.
Faustino calls upon all the headmen and Chiefs to work hand in hand to reduce criminal activities.
