Yei Prison Service is facing a lot of challenges which need to be addressed urgently, according to the Director.
Colonel Jackson Lumori Michael says the upkeep of the prisoners and cantonments remain major challenges, Radio Easter reports.
He urges UNMISS and other partners to support the Prison Service.
The Director discloses that they are keeping the prisoners in accordance with the international and national laws.
He is urging the partners to conduct capacity building to inmates.
The director made the call during the opening of eight-day training of organized forces on human rights in Yei arranged by UNMISS Human Rights Division.
