A 65-year-old woman is left homeless when unknown person burned her house to ashes in Mairo residential area of Torit on Tuesday.
According to eyewitness Taban Joseph Jackino, the incident occurred at 12:00 AM, Radio Emmanuel reports.
He says the event happened when the house owners were not at home.
Joseph urges fellow youth to provide security to the area instead of victimizing innocent persons.
He calls on humanitarian agencies to support the old woman.
65-year-old Afondo Peter says all her belongings were burnt with no single item rescued.
She is confused and upset on how to start a new beginning of life.
The old mother calls for justice to prevail so as the offenders are brought to law.
Miss Peter urges residential authorities to investigate the matter seriously 
She appeals to the government and humanitarian organizations to give her assistant.
Iyom Angelina a resident of Mairo condemns the incident which she says create fear to the residents.
