The State Minister of Information says Tombura State is continuing being peaceful.
John David Sakpio told Radio Anisa that peace and security are the main priorities for the state.
People are busy with cultivation this rainy season and are trying to produce sufficient products to fight the looming hunger in the country, he reveals.
David says Tombura State stands for unity, development and peace.
He urges citizens of greater Western Equatoria and South Sudan to be united so that the can get lasting peace.
The minister says the health situation in the state is normal because the ministry of is working hard to make sure citizens get medical services.
He invites every South Sudanese to go to Tombura State to live and work there.
Citizens of Tombura celebrated Independence Day in a peaceful manner for the first time after the creation of the state last year.
