Torit West County Commissioner in Imotong State promises to provide enough security on the roads to eliminate highway robberies and looting along the roads connecting Torit to Juba.

Vigilio Bernard Ikuru says they deployed forces to Kor Dileb, Lelelre and Isaloro to protect people, Radio Emmanuel reports.

He recalls that his county has experienced several attacks from unknown armed men, but his army and Monyo-miji were able to defend the territory.

Commissioner Bernard calls on the armed men to put down their guns and come for a peaceful dialogue.

Apostolic Administrator of Torit Catholic Diocese, Monsignor Thomas Oliha Atiya urges leaders of South Sudan to use dialogue as means of finding solution to the crisis in the country.

The officials spoke to Radio Emmanuel during the pastoral visit of the Apostolic Administrator of Torit to St Peter Claver Parish for Easter celebration last week.
