Muslim leaders called on the national Islamic Council authorities in Juba to unite, resolve problems in a peaceful way and work hard for development in South Sudan.
National Islamic Council Chairperson Osman Lokosa on Monday appealed to both Muslims and Christians to keep praying for an end to the ongoing conflict, Easter Radio reported.
Yei River County Muslim Community Chairperson Saied Jamba urged all citizens to leave aside their differences and tribalism and concentrate on hard work to develop the country.
The Muslim leaders appreciated state government authorities for supporting their community through the provision of security from the beginning of the Holy month of Ramadan to the end.
