The Archbishop of Juba announced that Pope’s representative Cardinal Tukson Peter Kwadwo Appiah will visit South Sudan for a week arriving Juba on March 18.
In a tentative programme CRN obtained, Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro said Cardinal Peter Kwadwo will preside over the Eucharistic celebration and dedication of St Joseph's new parish church on Wednesday March 19.
He said the Cardinal is expected to meet Catholic bishops, Monsignors, priests, religious and the laity on Thursday March 20.
Archbishop Lukudu explained that Cardinal Peter Kwadwo is expected to meet the President Salva Kiir and the Archbishop of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan Daniel Deng Bull on March 21.
The Archbishop said the Papal representative is expected to preside over a solemn Eucharistic celebration at St Theresa’s Cathedral Kator on Sunday March 23 and depart to Rome the following day.
