The Ministry of Interior announces to the general public that Juba will implement night curfew following the presidential decree issued on March 24th.
Minister Paul Mayom Akec, in a press release says the curfew will be imposed on people in all cities in the country from 8.00PM to 6.00AM.
The statement gave an exception to a few categories on duty such as, radio personnel, network operators, SSBC personnel and health conditions requiring an ambulance.
Any person found guilty of violating the orders will be punished by the law enforcers.
South Sudan till today is Covid-19 free, the measures and decrees are taken as precautionary to prevent South Sudanese from contracting the virus.
All the international and local flights are suspended as a measure to prevent the pandemic in the country.
